Introduction
Whatcom’s accounting and finance program offer two-degree options: an associate of science (AS) in accounting (90-94 credits) and an associate of science (AS) in finance (92-96 credits). Both degrees share a number of the same courses, with just three courses unique to each. With little additional effort, students could earn degrees in both disciplines, providing foundational knowledge beneficial to multiple career paths. The additional credits earned may also be applied toward the 225 credit minimum required to sit for the CPA exam by completing both degrees.
