An Associate of Arts (AA) degree is an academic achievement received by focusing on a field of study for two years at a community, technical, or vocational college. Upon earning an AA many students transfer to a university for a higher degree.
After completing a college degree, a student may wish to pursue a graduate degree. The first level of such study is called a master. Students can earn this title after completing approximately two years of study when taking a full load of credits.

The AA degree is accepted for transfer into bachelor’s degree programs at University Canada West (UCW) and all British Columbia degree-granting institutions, provided other admission requirements are met.

The Richard Bland College of William & Mary Global Student Success Program (GSSP) is equivalent to the first two years of a bachelor’s degree program.
