Benefits of the program
Professional project management has become a key component in all types of organizations given the importance of projects in the achievement of organizational objectives, goals and strategies. However, with the constant changes in the markets, the expectations of the clients and the life cycles of the increasingly short products or services, the scope of the current project management is evolving towards the agile project management methodologies that allow adapt management processes to the changes and expectations of customers and stakeholders. In this course, the main agile project management methodologies are reviewed in a theoretical-practical approach.
At the end of the program and based on a final evaluation, the Tecnológico de Monterrey in conjunction with the certifying institution PPMC®, Process and Project Management Center, (www.ppmc.mx), will deliver to the participant the International Certification in Agile Project Management (APM® - Agile Project Manager). In addition to the corresponding diploma issued by the Tecnológico de Monterrey.
The diploma offers the additional benefit of granting 120 PDUs (Professional Development Units) that can be used by the participant supporting the PMP® (Project Management Professional) certificate to obtain re-certification, although the PMP® certificate is not a requirement for take the diploma. These PDUs also serve the participant to start the process and obtain the PMI-ACP® (Agile Certified Practitioner) certification from the PMI® (Project Management Institute).
