What you will learn:

You will learn to improve your skills in planning and conducting effective meetings. This course is designed for employees at all levels of the organization who are responsible for holding meetings for organizations, departments or work teams.

  • Understand the characteristics of effective meetings
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of meetings you conduct
  • Use guidelines to establish and run a meeting from an agenda
  • Understand the 3 leadership roles required for effective meetings

Length: One- half day session of classroom instruction followed by a series of web-based reinforcement tools.

Purpose of this course:

To increase productivity and collaboration through planning and conducting meetings that make the most of everyone's time and input. Learn to create meetings that others want to attend because you follow an agenda, maximize participant's time and input and follow up with well communicated minutes.
