Course in Bookkeeping and Accounting - Short Programme in Management Accounting Control Systems (ICB)
Upon successful completion of the short programme, learners will receive an ICB Results Certificate in Management Accounting Control Systems. Only once all four short programmes have been successfully completed will the ICB apply to FASSET on the learner’s behalf for the National Diploma: Financial Accounting qualification to be awarded. Learner results will be recorded on the ICB National Learner Records Database within 3 months of completion.
- ONLY learners who have successfully completed all the components of the National Diploma: Technical Financial Accounting, SAQA ID 36213, NQF Level 5, Credits 251, are allowed access to register for this programme
The programme duration is 48 hours and the tuition is face-to-face. This excludes time to complete assignments, research and self-study. Each Damelin campus has a different tuition schedule. Programmes are offered during the week, in the evenings, or on Saturdays.
The purpose of this programme is to enable the learner to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Management accounting control systems. On completion of this programme, the learner would have acquired knowledge of key areas of cost and management accounting, management accounting control systems, information systems in business and techniques used within business organisations.
