Aircraft Engineering

The European Aviation Safety agency (EASA) regulates all aviation activity in Europe. Engineers are licenced in the same way as pilots and air traffic controllers. An Engineer who is fully licensed can certify work, which has been performed on an aircraft, and return it to the skies. Air Service Training Ltd. in Perth Scotland in cooperation with Keilir Aviation Academy has set up a local field office at the Keilir location in Ásbrú in Reykjanesbær where courses for certified Aircraft Engineering takes place. AST is approved by the UKCAA (United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority).

This is a 5 semester accredited program for Aircraft Engineering ´Approved IR Part 66 Category B´ which is both theoretical and practical course including apprenticeship for Aircraft Engineers. The course follows both the curriculum published by EASA according to the European publishing of certificates and AST, which is professionally responsible for implementation and quality of each course. Become a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer and/or Technician

Mid-East Aviation Academy (MAA) offers two approved part 66 programmes in Aviation Maintenance Engineering Technology; Aeroplane Turbine B1.1 & Avionics B2.

Those programs were established to meet the needs of individuals to be qualified in the area of Aircrafts maintenance based on European Aviation Safety Agency "EASA Parts 147& 66" and are licensed by Jordan Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (JCARC).

Each Programme is offered on a full-time semester basis and last for two and half years.

To become fully licensed by the JCARC, you will need a further two years of work experience after the successful completion of the basic syllabus. Without the Certificate of Recognition B1.1 and/or B2 issued by MAA, students would normally require five years of experience before being eligible for a license.... [-]

AIM’s Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) program is designed to provide our students with the proper knowledge and skill levels to excel in their chosen career field as an AMT or as a Service Technician. This training prepares our students with the proper knowledge and skill levels required to pass the test administered by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to gain entry level employment in the aviation industry. All instructors teaching A&P courses are fully FAA Certificated Airframe and/or Powerplant Mechanics that have years of practical experience maintaining a long list of highly complex aircraft. The curriculum taught by Aviation Institute of Maintenance relies greatly on many hours of actual hands on training in the shop areas. During this lab instruction, students are trained using much of the latest equipment utilized throughout the aircraft industry. They are taught on aircraft engines ranging from the earlier used radials, to opposed reciprocating powerplants, modern turbo props, and pure jet engines. Students often work on carburetors, magnetos, turbo chargers, and other complex equipment commonly found on aircraft. AMTs are certificated by the FAA and work for a variety of industries that require highly skilled technicians. The most recognized among these are major and regional air carriers, general aviation, manufacturers, industrial trades, and the U.S. government. About the Program

Avionica Orlando offers continuing professional training and licenses required by federal entities to exercise and practice the profession of avionics.

We seek to bring together a representation of such group of professionals in Latin America.

The aviation industry approaches our association seeking the avionics personnel trained by us to work in companies as certified and FCC licensed avionics technicians.

The training that we offer is an on the job training (OJT) type of training, no theoretical, lasts 3 months (two days a week). Includes: Exams for the FCC licenses, certificates of training completion, we prepare and update our members resumes, assistance in job opportunities and a 1 year membership with our association....
