The courses are based on either 24 hours per week or 15 hours per week of general Mandarin language study; the choice is yours. What’s more, our flexible class schedule allows you to choose either AM or PM classes.

Summer Program Chinese Language & Culture

This program is designed for students who wish to take advantage of their summer vacation to learn not just the Chinese language, but also various aspects of Chinese culture. This program combines three hours of daily Chinese language instruction along with special activities and lectures.The Chinese language course has 2 levels ranging from beginner to intermediate. Cultural activities and field trips offer students hands-on experiences with traditional crafts, music, martial arts and performing arts. Chinese language program is designed for students who are willing to learn Chinese. When students first join the program, they will be placed into different classes based on the result of the placement test. HSK 2 (Mandarin Chinese) is a 40-hour part-time short course ideal for beginners looking to learn Mandarin. HSK 2 is the second of six HSK courses. We offer HSK certificates levels 1-6.

HSK level 2 enables you to learn an additional 150 words to those words learnt at HSK level 1: you will be able to deal with simple tasks requiring a direct exchange of information on introducing one's families, residence, hobbies, specialities, showing gratitude, apologies, welcomes, specific time, shopping, transportation, emotions, suggestions, comparisons, etc.

HSK is an international standardized exam that tests and rates Chinese language proficiency. There are six test levels and test takers who pass the six HSK exams will be able to progress from being able to master simple Chinese phrases to effectively express themselves both orally and on paper.
