This two weeks on-campus module (6 ECTS) is an elective course of the online programme Master of Leadership in Development Finance (MA).External students and participants are also welcome to join.

The programme is split into two parts:

Part I, the first week, will be the general Frankfurt School Leadership Winter Academy, which is an open enrolment executive programme targeting development finance professionals worldwide. Executives from around the world can exchange their experience based on similar backgrounds.

The in-service styling training at AMD provides you with comprehensive insight into the fascinating world of styling, photography and production processes within 10 weeks.

Get to know stylists' practices and experiment with different styling disciplines in shootings. Based on a theoretical foundation, the conception, the project management, the compilation of the outfits or theme worlds, the creation of a lookbook and the execution of a shoot follow.

Passion to work! Gain experience and references and develop a portfolio to meet the needs of potential customers in a professional and confident manner. Stylists create theme and picture worlds for products of all kinds, are experts for placements at the point of sale, are used at trade fairs and in the media. For Engineers from abroad.

ICPF - Tech is a one-year course offered by IAS and Allensbach university with the objective of enabling international students for Higher Studies in Germany. This program prepares students in German (A1-C1 Level), Technical German and includes company/industry visits, seminars, social and cultural integration courses.

New: Engineering Management module:

We updated the ICPF – Tech course with an Engineering management module to equip students with modern-day management knowledge so that they perform better in today’s demanding industrial environments and they have wider opportunities. The module includes the following:

German as a foreign language has been a fixed component of Friedensau Adventist University since 1993. Course participants with basic knowledge (at least GER A1 level) can prepare linguistically for their studies in two semesters. For prospective students without previous knowledge of the language we offer a beginners’ course. The aim of both courses is the TestDaF (test in German as a foreign language, entitles the holder to study at German universities). For the students in the advanced course it is possible to reach the level for this test after one year. Experience suggests that beginners need 1.5 to two years. Since 2003, Friedensau has also been part of the ACA (Adventist Colleges Abroad) programme. This programme enables students from the USA to spend a year in Germany and study German as their major or minor.... [-]

Skiing is a way of life in the Allgaeu, that is why we have established in our course center in Lindenberg a room in the basement where we store ski and snowboard equipment. Depending on the amount of snowfall between December and March, our students are welcome to participate in ski and snowboard excursions and lessons after classes. A ski or snowboard course can be booked for 1 to 4 weeks. Ski or snowboard instruction is then scheduled from Monday to Friday after German classes. Teenagers who participate in a ski or snowboard course will only have 25 German lessons during this week(s). On Saturdays, the students even spend a full day on the ski-runs in the Alps. The fee for the ski or snowboard course includes the rental of ski/snowboard equipment as well as the lift tickets.... [-]

Postgraduate Degree Programme in Public Art and New Artistic Strategies (M.F.A.)

The Faculty of Art and Design at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar established the English-language, postgraduate M. F. A. degree programme in »Public Art and New Artistic Strategies« in the winter semester 2001/02. As the first and only master‘s degree programme of its kind in Germany, it prepares fine arts students for working in the public sphere and provides them with the skills required for effective artistic intervention.This degree programme is targeted at international students and was established with start-up capital provided by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Students from around the world participate in this MFA programme, and German students benefit from the vast network of international partner universities where they can study for one or two semesters abroad. Enrolment in this degree programme is limited to 40 students. Foreign students spend four semesters studying in Weimar, while German students are required to study abroad for at least one semester. New students are only permitted to enrol in the winter semester.... [-]
