The focus of the training for cutting and production directice lies in the professional creation of cuts in women's outerwear. You will acquire knowledge and skills in cutting-technical subjects - from the perfect fitting basic cut through the creative cutting development to the production-ready cutting set. In addition, you train your sense of proportion and learn to assess and optimize fits. All cuts are made on a scale of 1: 1 and checked for fit and design accuracy using Nesselan samples. The practical training is complemented by computer cutting and textile technology. Small groups guarantee individual support and promotion of your personal skills in modern equipped workshops and seminar rooms. Come to the AMD and bring along your portfolio or work. These can be drawings, collages, photos, designs with writing (flyers, school papers, birthday announcements, etc.) or websites - everything that expresses your creativity.

AQUAS – Academic qualification for University of Applied Sciences in Germany by IAS College and Designschule Schwerin:

Through AQUAS students from abroad have the possibility to receive the final exam certification „Fachhochschulreife“, which allows to pursue further Bachelor studies at German Universities of Applied Sciences afterwards.

Students can go on studying any subject of choice offered by the University of Applied Sciences.
