In this introductory course, you will examine the principles and processes of writing for the screen. Topics include finding and developing story ideas, film language, and script structure. The course offers you one-on-one sessions with an instructor as well as collaborative workshop sessions designed to provide meaningful, positive feedback.

The Theatre Major is a generalist degree for a student who wants a broad and flexible theatre education experience. Theatre Majors may opt to acquire either a Performance Specialization or a Design/Technology Specialization by selecting additional required or elective courses in each area listed. The specializations are designed to be coupled with the Theatre Core.

The 12 Week Program is designed for both beginners wishing to explore The Lee Strasberg Method™ Acting and professionals wishing to brush up on their technique. Classes are conducted Monday through Friday (mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Students can choose between full-time or part-time options and can register again for additional 12-Week Terms. Students can also apply for classes taken in the 12-Week Full Time Program toward the One Year or Two Year Conservatory Programs if they wish to extend their training.
