The Mogao caves are best known of the Chinese Buddhism grottoes, and together with Longmen Grottoes and Yungang Grottoes, are one of the three famous ancient Buddhist sculptural sites of China. As one of the World Heritage sites in China, the caves contain some of the finest examples of Buddhist art spanning a period of 1,000 years. As a volunteer at Mogao caves, you will learn about the history of Mogao Grottoes, and introduce them to worldwide visitors. [+]
