This leadership development programme is founded upon a powerful model of personal effectiveness. It has three components, each of which is a set of skills that the programme is designed to enhance:
1. Interpersonal problem-solving.
This can only be achieved by being confident in your self-knowledge and insight into others. These enable you to develop the best strategies for influencing and motivating people, and for confronting problems in the most effective way possible.
2. Practical applications.
We use practical exercises rather than simulations, and there is a consistent emphasis on you practically applying your learning to your own work challenges and problems. You'll examine and learn from your 'real life' work problems – each participant brings a map of their organisational structure and a 'people problem' to be examined during the programme.
3. Personal feedback.
Before the programme, a 360-degree survey will be completed by your colleagues to provide data on your management skills and development needs. You'll learn about how people perceive your strengths and weaknesses and have the opportunity to develop strategies to reshape your impact on others and how you're seen.
