The Preparatory Program prepares students for Degree Program study at the MIAS School of Business or at other faculties of the CTU. Students take classes in English, a Primer in Communication, and other courses pre-requisite for their successful study in the Degree Program, such as a Primer in Mathematics. The exact structure is determined by an initial evaluation with regard to the particular Degree Program and stipulated by the student's Study Plan.
Organization of the Academic Year in the Preparatory Program is generally commensurate with that in Degree Programs, but when merited by particular students' learning needs, intakes may be arranged for the Summer Term, i.e. in mid-February. Students then attend the Preparatory Program for an odd number of Terms until they enroll in a Degree Program in September....
