Wanderlust Exchange provides students with opportunities that integrate educational travel, Mandarin learning, childcare and English tutoring. It is a great chance for overseas youngsters to experience China with an authentic touch by staying with Chinese host families.
Au Pair China Program Overview
Locations of host families: Mostly in Shanghai(we have host families in other major cities including Beijing, Chongqing, Hangzhou, Tian Jin and etc.)
- Program time span: 3 months-12 months
- You give: 30 hours of childcare and English tutoring per week
- You get: 1500 RMB pocket money/month
- You get: 3000-12000 RMB as flight stipend ( depending on your length of stay for 3-12 months program)
- You study: 3 hours of Mandarin classes/week
- You get: 1.5 days off each week
- You get: International medical insurance
- You get: Visa application & renewal fee reimbursement ( upon au pairs' completion of the program)
- Payment: 0$ application fee + 100 $ downpayment ( the downpayment will be completely returned to au pairs upon their completion of the program)
You can apply if you:
- Are 18-28 years old
- Have completed secondary school
- Are proficient in English
- Have no criminal record
- Are open to cultural differences
- Can teach English
