The Vogue Fashion Foundation Programme offers an exceptional opportunity to be immersed in the dynamic fashion and media industries with Condé Nast, and serves as an introductory stepping stone, equipping students for their journey into higher education.
You may be a school-leaver with a passion for fashion-related fields, but uncertain about your specialisation at degree-level; or you may not meet the entry criteria for our BA (Hons) Fashion Communication or similar courses at other institutions; or you may wish to first explore your creativity and better understand fashion-related fields before committing to higher education.
This foundation programme seamlessly integrates study and research skills throughout its modules, ensuring that you will be well-prepared for the transition to higher education. Furthermore, our commitment to facilitating your educational path includes comprehensive support for degree applications. Successful completion of the VOGUE Fashion Foundation Programme opens doors to further pursuits, including your eligibility to be considered for our BA (Hons) Fashion Communication & Industry Practice degree.

This programme is suitable for UK and international students interested in studying fashion-related subjects and exploring creative mediums and outputs to utilise in readiness for higher education degree-level studies at a later stage. Modules on this programme are:
Understanding Design & Visual Culture
This module explores visual communication and its impact. It covers message visualisation, influential art movements, and design’s societal role. It emphasises research’s importance and allows for artefact creation. You will reflect on learning and its relevance to your design process.
Introduction to the Creative Industries
You will gain insight into the creative industry’s evolution, define creativity, explore skills, and delve into various creative disciplines. You will also create and present projects to understand the industry’s dynamics.
Fashion Media & Communication
This module will study Vogue’s heritage, media evolution, and content impact. You will analyse media channels, critique representation’s effects, explore media’s role in fashion consumer behaviour, and learn effective brand communication.
Independent Fashion Portfolio
You will build a personal portfolio showcasing your creative work and develop skills through an independent project, supporting personal development and higher education aspirations. Yu will also learn study skills for independent higher education study.
Multi-Media Practice
This module will allow you to master design tools and software while developing multimedia skills for projects. You’ll experiment with digital and physical media, working collaboratively in creative teams.
