It is not enough to be a chef. Here we train chefs for the 21st century.
The Haute Cuisine Chef Diploma (PCAC) is the most comprehensive cooking course at Culinary Institute of Barcelona. With 8 months of classes plus 3 months of internship in a haute cuisine restaurant, the program trains the student in the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to be a chef in the 21st century. Its culinary contents are divided into three legs; Product, Technology and Context, which provide the student with a broad knowledge of the products, techniques and currents that make up contemporary cuisine.
All of the CIB's culinary programs are focused on creativity and innovation, leaving behind the classic teaching based on recipes and seeking to anticipate the new scenarios that will open up in the sector in the coming years. The CIB also trains its students in communication, teamwork and business management skills, so that its students are prepared for everything that is going to be asked of them in their professional future.
