Introduction
The Paraprofessional Option in the Education Program meets the State of Illinois requirement for the training of teaching assistants. Upon initial enrollment in the program, students must complete an "Application to Participate" form (see NOTE). Students must meet all state requirements to be eligible to participate in the internship. Some courses are offered alternate years.
First-time degree-seeking students must complete INST101, Success in College, as a requirement for graduation.
