Introduction
Awarded in association with the University of Creative Arts, this foundation course is designed to prepare students for undergraduate study. The Foundation in Design and Creative Business course is divided into three stages and is designed to equip students with key industry knowledge and creative business skills. Taught by a team of expert practitioners, this art foundation course will cover the key areas of creative business, marketing, fashion, art and design as well as having the opportunity to develop your own creative portfolio of work. LCCA strives to provide its students with both academic excellence, career focus and a friendly environment across all disciplines. Our boutique campus is located in Tower Hill, London with a range of facilities and equipment, making it the perfect place to study.

You’ll engage in a series of independent and group projects
The foundation degree courses are taught via a series of group and independent work projects whilst developing key study skills needed for progression onto an undergraduate degree. After exploring the range of pathways within the creative business, we will support you in choosing which area you’d like to specialise in at an undergraduate level.
The pathway to undergraduate studies includes the following programmes:
- BA (Hons) Business Management
- BA (Hons) Fashion
- BA (Hons) Fashion Media and Promotion
- BA (Hons) Fashion Management and Marketing
- BA (Hons) Graphic Design
- BA (Hons) Hospitality Management
- BA (Hons) Illustration
Course Requirements
The standard entry requirements* for this Art and Design foundation course are one of the following:
- 64 new UCAS tariff points, see accepted qualifications
- Merit, Pass, Pass at BTEC Extended Diploma
- Pass at UAL Extended Diploma
- 64 new UCAS tariff points from an accredited Access to Higher Education Diploma in an appropriate subject
- 24 points from the International Baccalaureate, see more information about IB entry requirements
- And four GCSE passes at grade A*-C and/or grade 4-9 including English (or Functional Skills English/Key Skills Communication Level 2)
Note:
Other relevant and equivalent Level 3 UK and international qualifications are considered on an individual basis and we encourage students from diverse educational backgrounds to apply.
*We occasionally make offers which are lower than the standard entry criteria, to students who have faced difficulties that have affected their performance and who were expected to achieve higher results.
