The Women entrepreneurship policy programme is designed for:
- Executives with responsibility for gender policy and/or women entrepreneurship policy
- Consultants and lecturers working in areas related to gender policy and/or women entrepreneurship policy
Admissions
Admission requirements
Applicants should have the ability to function academically and professionally at Bachelor level. Because it is an interactive programme, candidates should have an adequate level of spoken and written English to be able to follow the program and to actively participate. If it turns out and applicant does not have the sufficient level of English, a certificate will not be awarded.
Scholarships and Funding
Scholarship opportunities can be combined up to 50% of the full tuition fee.
Corporate Discount:
- 15% for 2 participants coming from the same organisation within 1 academic year
- 25% for 3 participants coming from the same organisation within 1 academic year
- 40% for 4 - 6 participants coming from the same organisation within 1 academic year
- For > 6 participants we will offer a tailor made programme

- Introduction into the women and youth empowerment and entrepreneurship policy framework:
- Formulating the national entrepreneurship strategy
- Optimizing the regulatory environment
- Enhancing entrepreneurship education and skills development
- Facilitating technology exchange and innovation
- Improving access to finance
- Promoting awareness and networking
Teaching methods
This short course involves an interactive learning approach, in which the participant is stimulated to move beyond his/her own organization or sector. Learnings take place through:
- Classroom interactive lecturing
- Self-study
- In-class group assignments to reflect on the learning
- Individual assignment, presentation and discussion
- Guest lectures
