Introduction
This qualification is designed for those working in teaching assistant roles. You will need to have some degree of responsibility through the planning and running of intervention groups or being named pupil support assistant with an input into the named pupil’s IEP and targets.
Once the appropriate units are agreed, assessment can commence. This takes the format of an assessor working with you in the workplace to observe you carrying out your daily tasks. Assessments will contain a mixture of:
