Introduction

One of the 58 institutions of the North Carolina Community College System, Vance-Granville Community College is the local source for higher education and training in Vance, Granville, Franklin and Warren counties. With a service area the size of Rhode Island, Vance-Granville Community College operates four attractive campuses, one in each county: Main Campus in Vance County, between Henderson and Oxford; South Campus in southern Granville County, between Creedmoor and Butner; Franklin County Campus, just west of Louisburg; and the Warren County Campus in Warrenton.

Established in 1969, Vance-Granville Community College offers more than 40 curriculum programs , in which students work toward certificates, diplomas and degrees. Area residents and businesses can also take advantage of a variety of Continuing Education opportunities, as well as the High School Equivalency and Adult High School Diploma programs. High school students can also get a step ahead by starting their college education early with Vance-Granville Community College courses.
