Introduction
Cannabis agriculture is a complex but rewarding process. One that takes insightful understanding to achieve successful results. This program provides both novice and experienced growers with the accurate information needed to effectively engage in production, management, and cultivation of cannabis, hemp, and other dioecious plants.
In the past, cannabis horticulture has been stigmatized, with a lack of industry standards resulting in misinformation. Here, you’ll have access to accurate and informative learnings from expert growers, as you develop a portfolio of work and earn a credible cannabis qualification.
In six months, you’ll study cannabis botany and genetics and explore plant growth techniques. As you gain experience, you’ll elect to specialize in the indoor or outdoor grow track with immersive and experiential learning opportunities to work hands-on with cannabis, hemp, or dioecious plants.
Growing a cannabis plant is not required for this program. Students are expected to abide by their local laws and regulations. Other dioecious plants, such as the stinging nettles, are options for the portfolio / hands-on experience components.
