Coffeyville Community College

Introduction

Coffeyville Community College is a comprehensive two-year institution of post-secondary learning. The College offers 19 academic programs, 15 technical programs, and 14 certificate programs. Students can graduate from the College with one of four Associate Degree options.

The College consists of three campuses. The Main Campus is located in downtown Coffeyville. The other two campuses became a part of the College in 2001 following the merger of the former Southeast Kansas Area Technical School. Those two campuses that merged are now referred to as the Coffeyville Technical Campus and the Columbus Technical Campus. The Coffeyville Technical Campus is located directly west of Field Kindley High School. The Columbus Technical Campus is about 50 miles east-northeast of Coffeyville in Columbus, Kan., directly east of the Columbus High School.

Full-time faculty teach 91% of the total credit hours offered by the College. The College offers a distance learning program with the majority of those classes offered online. Students can earn an Associate in Arts degree totally online through this program.

The College has a headcount of approximately 3,000 students each academic year. Approximately 54% of these students reside in Montgomery County.
