Lower Columbia College
Introduction
Lower Columbia College was established in 1934 as Lower Columbia Junior College. In 1961 it was elevated to a community college. In 1967 it joined the state-supported community college system.
Today, the college is a comprehensive community and technical college offering 70+ programs and serving over 4,000 students each year. Additional programs include Basic Education for Adults (Transitional Studies) and non-credit offerings.
